The National Center for the Study of Civil Rights and African-American Culture

Civil Rights is a big topic in the City of Montgomery with many or its attractions and much of its heritage tied to the Civil Rights movement. One of the local attractions that I shot in the recent past was The National Center for the Study of Civil Rights and African-American Culture at Alabama State University. It also so happens to be the attraction with the longest name!

Located on Carter Hill Road in Montgomery, Alabama, the NCSCR (as I refere to it) is a research institute and repository for the collection of civil rights and African-American cultural documents, artifacts, and other memorabilia.
