Not every photograph that I work with is originally my shot. Some of the projects that I design have supplied photography from agencies or local photographers, and others use stock imagery.

Additionally, not every shot I take or that is supplied to me is exactly like myself or the client wants. In those instances, adjustments, enhancements or manipulations need to be made.

Below is an example of when supplied photography needed an adjustment or manipulation for the final design. In both instances environmental conditions and poor lighting caused the shot to be less than adequate for advertising demands at no fault to the photographer.

Some shots are too difficult to be made under normal conditions and would require extraordinary, or even impossible circumstances to render perfect straight out of the lens. It is in these instances that Photoshop is used to provide the designer the ideal image.
