Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts Flimp Festival 2011

This past weekend was the annual Flimp Festival out at the Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts in the Blount Cultural Park on the east side of town. To be honest, I’d never attended a Flimp Festival in the past, but the Montgomery Visitor Bureau asked that I cover the event—which gave me the excuse I needed to check it out.

…The chalk art was interesting and I never need an excuse to check out the museum. There were some talented artists on hand…

I’ll probably attend another Flimp Festival by request, and everyone should go at least once just to say they have experienced the event for themselves. Who knows, maybe it will be your thing.
